4145H MOD Alloy Steel
Description
AISI 4145H 120 ksi, API 7-1 Standards is a chromium molybdenum quality alloy steel specification. As a high tensile steel grade AISI 4145H MOD is primarily supplied in the hardened and tempered condition to 30-36HRc range to AISI 4145H MOD. With a slightly higher carbon content AISI 4145H MOD is similar to AISI 4140 in that it offers good ductility, shock resisting characteristics combined with resistance to wear.
Advantages:
1 QTC Qualification Test Coupon Passed
2 Superior Hardenability
3 Optimize chemical component
Applications
AISI 4145H MOD Steel is commonly used for a variety of applications in the oil and gas sector. Used often for the manufacture of down hole drilling tools such as drill collars. Other applications include gears, shafts for hydraulic presses, rolls for paper mills, pump shafts and tool holders.
