Description
A high-purity grade of nickel made by powder metallurgy. It has a low base hardness and high ductility. Its extreme purity is useful for components of hydrogen thyratrons. It is also used for electrical resistance thermometers.
Nickel 270 alloy is an unalloyed high purity nickel alloy that has high ductility and low base hardness. It is made by powder metallurgy. It contains 99.8% nickel in addition to traces of minor elements. It is essentially free from non-metallic inclusions.
